The French-American Scholarship Fund, Inc has been created by members of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Houston, Texas for the purpose of promoting understanding and commerce between the peoples of France and the United States.
Specifically, the Fund desires to award Study Abroad Scholarships to Houston area college students who have excelled in their French language studies, are majoring in a Business, International Relations, or Engineering field of study, and are seeking to Study Abroad in France.
The FASF has also developed a Youth Program which awards Freshman Year Merit Scholarships to several of Greater Houston's most gifted High School French students who attend the annual Houston World Affairs Council French-Language Luncheon.
The French-American Scholarship Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
